For their assessment, students will each construct a poster outlining how one particular type of food is made, and a meal that can be prepared using it.
Options for students to choose from include:
- Knowledge and Understanding: Explore how plants and animals are grown for food, clothing and shelter and how food is selected and prepared for healthy eating (ACTDEK003).
- Process and Production Skills: Explore needs or opportunities for designing, and the technologies needed to realise designed solutions (ACTDEP005) (ACARA, 20116).
